WCPA MEMBERSHIP
WCPA membership is open to all who appreciate poetry and wish to support the vibrant
Worcester poetry community. As a volunteer organization, WCPA welcomes active
member participation in operations, programming and governance.
WCPA has seven membership categories. Annual membership in each category includes:

Individual Membership $30 Full membership.
Student, Senior, Low Income $12 Full membership at a courtesy discount.
WCPA Friend $50 Full membership which provides additional support for general operations.
WCPA Patron $75 Full membership with acknowledgement on TWR Patrons page.
WCPA Benefactor $150 Full membership with acknowledgement on TWR Benefactors page.
Poetry Reading Sponsor $250 Full membership and acknowledged co-sponsorship of poetry event.
Permanent Endowment $1000 Full membership, acknowledgemnt in TWR and the Association's undying gratitude!
The Worcester County Poetry Association has established two endowment funds managed by

The Worcester Review Endowment Fund suports publication of The Worcester Review.
Worcester County Poetry Association Founders Fund supports general programming.

Gregory P. Stockmal Memorial Fund
Established in 2008 to support programming at the Woodford Street childhood home of Stanley Kunitz,
restored and opened to the Worcester community by Greg and Carol Stockmal.
The fund also supports the Gregory Stockmal Annual Poetry Reading.
Contributions to the fund in Greg's memory should be payable to the Worcester County Poetry Association.

College Poetry Competition Fund
The Worcester County Poetry Association inaugurated the College Poetry Competition in 2008 to encourage and recognize the next generation of poets. The finalists, who are nominated by faculty and administrators at colleges in Worcester County, compete for two available awards: the Poetry Manuscript Prize and the Poetry Performance Prize.
This fund, established in 2009 with a donation by Susan Elizabeth Sweeney, ensures the contination of the program.
Contributions to the fund should be payable to the Worcester County Poetry Association.

WCPA Annual Poetry Contest Fund
The WCPA has received a generous donation from the O'Hara Family to ensure the continuation
of the annual poetry contest in the name of poet Frank O'Hara.
In 2010, the contest will be officially renamed in a ceremony at the Worcester Art Museum.
Contributions to the fund should be payable to the Worcester County Poetry Association.
