New Hampshire Poet Laureate Patricia Fargnoli is the author of five collections of poetry (three books and two chapbooks). Her latest book, Duties of the Spirit (Tupelo Press,2005) was this year's winner of the Jane Kenyon Poetry Book Award (for an outstanding book of poetry published by a NH poet).  Her first book, Necessary Light (Utah State University Press) won the May Swenson Literary Award judged by Mary Oliver.  Her work has appeared in such journals as Poetry, Ploughshares, Mid-American Review, and Indiana Review
